A face worth stopping for.

In the shelter’s words · excerpt

If loyalty had a face, it would look like Jake. He’s been waiting… through seasons, through noise, through days that all blur together on concrete floors. And still—he steps outside, feels the sun, and just breathes it in like it’s the best thing in the world. Jake isn’t asking for much. Not big adventures or chaos. Just a quiet place, a soft spot to land, and someone who finally says, “you’re mine.”
