In the shelter’s words · excerpt

Meet Sassy, a 2-year-old Pit Bull mix who came into the shelter with herlittle sidekick, Hazel. The two seemed very bonded, so naturally we wonderedif Sassy needed Hazel to feel comfortable. Well, Sassy would like toofficially announce: 'I appreciate my friend, but I've got this!' Sassy is in the shelter's Shy Dog Program, but she's making such greatprogress that she may be ready to graduate soon.
