Animal Information: Bertie is a 7.5-year-old, 60lb hound mix who was adopted from Seattle Humane as a puppy. She is being surrendered because she needs more routine, attention, and activity than her owner can provide due to work demands. Her owner lives alone on Whidbey Island and works in Seattle 2-3 days a week. Most of the time Bertie cannot come along, so she spends many hours home alone.
