Teresa

In the shelter’s words · excerpt

Teresa is a gentle 7-year-old cat whose world changed when her owner developed dementia and was no longer able to care for her. Having spent her life as an only pet, Teresa is understandably overwhelmed by this sudden transition and needs time to feel safe again. She is very shy at first and may lash out when she feels insecure, but this behavior comes from fear—not from a lack of sweetness.
