In the shelter’s words · excerpt

Meet Winky! - Winky’s story is one of resilience, second chances, and a heart that refuses to give up.She came to us from the South LA shelter with a past we may never fully understand. According to her records, she was adopted twice… and returned twice. Heartbreaking doesn’t even begin to cover it. And as for her missing eye — no one knows what happened.
