In the shelter’s words · excerpt

Leona is the kind of love you earn—and the kind that lasts forever. She may take a moment to make sure you’re her person, but once she knows your heart is kind, she gives you everything… loyalty, protection, and a bond that runs deep. Out in the grass, rolling in the sunshine, you see her true self—happy, free, and full of life. She’s done her time waiting. Now she’s ready to belong to someone who won’t let her go.
