In the shelter’s words · excerpt
This is Athena. Athena is a little over 4 years old and weighs about 30 pounds almost like a fun-sized shepherd mix. She had a rough beginning as she was picked up as a stray in Mexico, along with her sister. They came to us extremely scared of everything and have come a long way since being with us. While her sister got adopted shortly after, Athena got left behind still looking for her forever family.
