Mabel

In the shelter’s words · excerpt

Mabel is a soft and gentle soul. She is not your typical hound. She is not exuberant or naughty. She is not the class clown. Instead, Mabel is a wallflower, trying her hardest to bloom. Mabel was originally living as a stray in southern Missouri, periodically showing up on local farms. After months on the run, someone was able to catch her and she was taken in by a kind family.
