Toastie

In the shelter’s words · excerpt

Meet Toastie! Toastie is a very special girl who has faced more sadness in her short life than any dog should have to face. When she was brought into rescue, she only weighed 24 lbs. She was a skeleton...you could see every vertebrate, every rib, hip bones, her skull bones....we didn't know if she would make it. Her parasitic load was high and she was covered in fleas. Sweet Toastie was just a shell of a dog.
