A face worth stopping for.

In the shelter’s words · excerpt

My legs may not work, but please don’t mistake that for a life not worth living. Someone shot me, and the bullet left me paralyzed. I crawl when I need to, and when you put me in my wheelchair? I get to GO. I still love. I still play. I still light up when someone gives me attention. And if you look into my eyes, you’ll see just how much life is still in me.
