In the shelter’s words · excerpt

Zuri Meet Zuri — From Abandoned in the Desert to Ready for a Family! This sweet little fawn Cane Corso mix was abandoned by her owner in the desert, left to fend for herself with no food. Thankfully, one of our amazing rescue volunteers was able to trap her and bring her safely to AZ Mastiff Rescue. Zuri was skin and bones and literally pooping rocks from trying to survive.
