Zeke

In the shelter’s words · excerpt

Welcome Xicaru (pron Zee-kah-roo) from Bakersfield Animal Care Center. Xicaru means “beautiful” in the Zapotec language of Oaxaca…and beautiful he is. This 1 year, 51lb Aussie mix isn’t just all looks - he’s a sweet, sweet boy. We’re calling him Zeke for short. He’s playful, dog social, and people friendly. Sorry feline people, no cats. Otherwise, he’s a no-brainer.
