Sarah

In the shelter’s words · excerpt

I’m Sarah, a 3-year-old girl who’s been waiting for my forever family since I arrived at the shelter almost 2 years ago. It’s hard not to wonder when it will finally be my turn. I’m not the kind of cat who will win everyone over the moment they meet me, and that’s okay. I need someone who understands that I deserve to be loved for who I am—not for who they hope I’ll become.
