Bessie

In the shelter’s words · excerpt

Bessie may only weigh 14 pounds, but this little Chihuahua has packed a whole lot of resilience, personality, and love into one tiny body. Bessie came to OURS from CVAC after being confiscated as part of a hoarding case. When she first arrived, she was timid and unsure of this big new world around her. But with patience, consistency, and plenty of love, Bessie began to realize something wonderful—she was safe.
