Mae

In the shelter’s words · excerpt

Mae's life began in an unsupportive and neglectful home. She was confiscated from her original home and brought into a county shelter. One animal on the property had been tethered and found starved to death, and Mae was one of several other dogs that were impounded. She was so emaciated that she wasn't far from death herself.
