Mama

In the shelter’s words · excerpt

Meet Mama! Mama is a young mixed-breed girl estimated to be 1–1½ years old, about 33 pounds, whose story is nothing short of remarkable. Before she was rescued, she somehow managed to survive in rural Georgia while raising two little healthy, happy puppies completely on her own. Despite the challenges she faced, she never lost her gentle spirit or her love for people.
