Beck

In the shelter’s words · excerpt

Our Gentle Diamond in the Rough Beck's story didn't begin with soft beds or full bowls. This sweet dachshund/staffie mix was surviving life in a wash alongside many unhoused individuals and their dogs, where kindness and consistency were hard to come by and food was never guaranteed. In that world, Beck learned to be cautious - because he had to be. But rescue changed everything.
