Venus

In the shelter’s words · excerpt

Meet Venus! Venus is an approximately 2-year-old female shepherd mix weighing in at 33lbs! Venus is on the smaller side but don’t let that fool you. She was an Olympic jumping horse in a previous life and never skips leg day! “Venus” (the Roman Goddess of Love & Beauty) was found the day before Valentine’s Day, 2026, wandering onto a school campus. Venus’s rescuer tried to reunite her with her owners with no success.
