In 2018, San Bernardino City Shelter sent out an urgent plea, asking rescues to pick up 3 malnourished underaged pups dropped off in a bucket smelling of gasoline. All pups had chemical burns most likely from the gas. Harry was the smallest of the three and suffered the most chemical burns of all and had to spend several nights at the emergency vet in an oxygen tank on IV fluids.
