Birdie & Chief

In the shelter’s words · excerpt

Birdie (female tuxedo kitten) and Chief (her black brother) were abandoned outdoors in the cold with no food or water at the tender age of about 5 months. They were rescued on Super Bowl Sunday, and it was later discovered that poor Birdie was so starved that she was eating garbage and had consumed plastic bags, which messed up her digestive tract, requiring emergency surgery.
