In the shelter’s words · excerpt

Meet Shiitake, a gorgeous long-haired girl who is discovering that the world is full of wonderful things — soft pets, cozy cuddles, fun toys, and humans who just might be pretty great after all. Shiitake came from a hoarding situation, and she's been on quite a journey learning that people can be friends. She's made wonderful progress and is growing more confident every day.
