Maxwell

In the shelter’s words · excerpt

My name is Maxwell, I’m about 2 years old, and I’m a handsome Cane Corso with a soft side. I was dumped at a Central California shelter with my brother and sister. I was scared, confused and then separated from my siblings. People kept walking past my kennel, staring at me and sticking fingers through the gate. I growled because I was terrified — and that landed me on the euthanasia list.
