John “Quincy” Adams

In the shelter’s words · excerpt

James Quincy Adams is a big, dreamy orange-and-white boy with the gentlest face and huge, thoughtful golden eyes. He’s shy in the sweetest way: no hissing, no swatting—just a quiet retreat to the corner and a still orange loaf until he feels safe. When the room is calm, he creeps out to eat, play delicately with spring toys, and curl up like a citrus-colored cloud.
