Opal

In the shelter’s words · excerpt

Meet Opal Opal is proof that second chances can change everything. She and her five siblings were rescued from a high-intake shelter just moments before they were scheduled to be euthanized. Tiny bottle babies without a mom, their future looked uncertain—but thanks to a dedicated foster family, they were given the chance to grow up safe, loved, and healthy.
