Scout

In the shelter’s words · excerpt

Scout (TX) is an extremely affectionate male Dachshund mix with beautiful honey colored eyes estimated by our vet to be approximately 6.5 years old as of October 2026. He is very sweet and wonderful with people, children and other dogs. Scout (TX)’s story began on the streets, where RDR NYC found him wandering with a large gash that required life-saving medical treatment.
