In the shelter’s words · excerpt
Jewel is one of 12 cats rescued from a farm in Wilmington, Ohio. She was timid at first, but now she cannot believe her luck in landing a safe place inside. She is great with other cats but a bit weird about people! She will sit on a cat tree and tag you with her paw to get your attention! She greats you at the door, and wants pets - but on her terms!
