In the shelter’s words · excerpt

Mittens is a cat-social cat that has been pretty worried here at the shelter. Mittens doesn't have a lot of history of enjoying interactions with humans, so we aren't sure if he's going to be interested in making human friends. Ideally, Mittens could go to a home where there is another confident cat friend in the home without any expectations on being human-oriented.
