Western Toro

In the shelter’s words · excerpt

Western Toro is an off the track Standardbred gelding who raced for 9 seasons before retiring to a pleasure driving home. When that owner had some life changes, Toro joined Safe Harbor. Toro is a gentle giant who has taken right to riding. That said, he is big and green under saddle, and so is best suited to a more experienced rider or one working with a trainer.
