Dahlia

In the shelter’s words · excerpt

Meet Dahlia, a 5-year-old, 35-pound bundle of happy-go-lucky goodness who is still waiting for someone to notice just how special she is. Dahlia is a victim of Black Dog Syndrome — that unfair little phenomenon where black dogs get overlooked in shelters simply because of their color. And after coming from a hoarding situation, this girl deserves to be seen, loved, and celebrated for the wonderful dog she is!
