Hi, I'm Melon! I'm a petite little girl with a gentle heart and a quiet personality. While I may not be the first cat to demand attention, I have a sweet nature that shines through once you take the time to get to know me. I can be a little shy at first, but I truly enjoy being petted and spending time with people who are patient and kind. As my confidence grows, so does my affection. I'm the kind of cat who forms special bonds with those who give me a chance. These days, I'm healthy, happy, and ready for a forever home of my own. In a room full of outgoing cats, it's easy for a quieter girl like me to blend into the background, but I promise there's a wonderful companion waiting to be discovered. If you're looking for a sweet, gentle cat who will reward your patience with trust and love, come meet me at M’Shoogy’s. I would love the chance to be seen by someone special.

We want to meet you and make sure we are making the right match for your situation as well as for the animal. Email or call us about which animal you are considering and we can make an appointment for you and the animal to meet. Visit the Adoption Information page at www.mshoogys.org to fill out our adoption application and email it to one of our volunteers. You can also print a copy, fill it out, and bring it with you to M'Shoogy's during our hours of operation, which are Saturdays from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Please note that if you are applying to adopt a dog, we usually require that you have a fenced-in yard except in special situations. The cost to adopt includes shots and the cost of spaying/neutering. If you are adopting a dog we also ask that you purchase 6 months of heartworm preventative. It is sold by weight. If you check around, you'll find it is the lowest cost adoption service in the area.
