In the shelter’s words
Say hello to Seriphina! Rescued in Torrington, we think she was born about mid-May. She loves to play with humans and the other kittens in her foster home. She might not turn out to be a 24/7 lap cat, but she loves to be pet, picked up and to hang out with you on the couch. She can live with dogs, other cats and children. It would be best if Seriphina could be adopted by an experienced cat owner who can help give her confidence in her new home. Seriphina was born around May 15, 2026, and is currently being fostered in Bristol. She is fixed, up-to-date on shots, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. All of our cats and kittens are cared for in loving foster homes. "Meet and Greets" can be arranged only after an application has been submitted and approved. Applications for adoption can be found at our website at www.fosterandforever.org. Our volunteers do their best to respond within 24-48 hours.

Plan a visit with the source organization
Visit our website to fill out an application either on-line or download a form (fill it out and email it back to us). This will start the adoption process. All applicants must provide references including a vet (please give them permission to speak to us). Note that we do not place our pets in homes with children under 5, this protects the children and our pets. Once references are checked a home visit will be scheduled and then a meet and greet with the pet.
