Meet Joey ❤️Joey is a very sweet, gentle soul who is looking for a place to finally call home. He may be a little shy at first, but underneath that timid exterior is a loving cat who just needs a little patience, kindness, and understanding to let his personality shine.Joey has already been through more than any cat should have to endure. He was abandoned by the people who should have cared for him, and now he deserves the chance to know what it feels like to be safe, loved, and wanted.His ideal home would be a quiet, peaceful environment where he can settle in at his own pace, feel secure, and learn that he never has to worry about being abandoned again. He doesn't ask for much — just a soft place to land, a gentle heart to love him, and someone willing to give him the time he needs to blossom.Joey deserves so much more than the life he's known. Potential adopters must fill out an adoption application. Applications are reviewed and the potential adopter is notified of the status of their app within 24-48 hours. Upon approval, adopter must make arrangements for pick-up of the dog/cat within 24 hours. Every adoption starts with a "7-day home visit". This is a trial period in which the adopter will take the dog/cat home for 7 days to make sure they are a good fit within the home/family. After the 7 day period, the adopter must return to the shelter to either complete the final adoption and receive all paperwork/records pertaining to the animal they adopted or to return the animal for a full refund if they choose to not complete the adoption.
