In the shelter’s words

Moth and Bernadette are an affectionate, bonded pair of 1-year-old cats looking for a forever home together.Moth is the more energetic and confident one of this bonded pair. He might only have three legs, but it doesn't slow him down one bit — his foster mom says he looks like a little kangaroo bounding around. He's a very silly boy who is endlessly excited about his people. When he's not playing with Bernadette, you'll find him cuddled up on the couch, and if you're lucky, he might even reach up to give you one of his very good hugs. Moth hops through life with lots of curiosity and love.Bernadette is more laid back and takes her time warming up to new people. Once she feels comfortable, this quiet girl enjoys head scratches and sitting next to her people to watch TV. She's a great biscuit maker, and you'll find her snuggled between your legs when you go to bed. With her big round eyes, she has no trouble melting hearts once she decides you're worth trusting.Moth and Bernadette will come trotting into your lap almost as soon as you sit down and have even been known to cuddle on your lap at the same time. Moth will also cuddle with you as a little spoon and peacefully sleep with you nearly the entire night. Bernadette can't wait for you to get into bed and start dancing around on the bed until you settle in since she loves cuddling on top of you.We haven’t met small children, and we weren’t too sure about dogs when we saw them through a door, so we would likely do best in a home with older kids or calm, respectful dogs who understand our space. We are very bonded and love being together. Having each other makes everything better, whether we are playing, exploring, or just relaxing nearby. We bring out the best in each other, and we always stay close. If you are looking for double the love, double the purrs, and a home filled with affection and joy, we would love to be your companions. If you're looking for double the love, double the purrs, and a home filled with affection, companionship, and joy, Moth and Bernadette would love to become part of your family.-----------Because Moth & Bernadette are FeLV+, they cannot live with another cat unless it is also FeLV+.
