In the shelter’s words

Meet Chrysanthemum, a 1-year-old mama who is still very much a kitten at heart. She came into the shelter as a stray and gave birth the very next day. After losing three of her four kittens, she entered foster care with her surviving daughter, Dahlia. Through it all, Chrysanthemum has remained affectionate, playful, and completely obsessed with being around her people.

She is high-energy and loves a good play session, especially with wand toys, crinkle balls, or anything she can grab and bunny kick. She also enjoys playing with Dahlia and would likely appreciate having another cat friend in her future home. She has only shown curiosity toward other cats and may also do well with a dog after a slow introduction. When she is not playing, she is happy to curl up in a sunny window and keep you company.

Chrysanthemum is also a total chatterbox who always has something to say. She loves greeting her people, following them around, and making sure they know exactly what is on her mind. She would make a fantastic home office companion and would be happiest with someone who loves her attention just as much as she loves giving it.
