In the shelter’s words

Dove came to us from the Forge and is still settling in. She’s a nervous little girl, but even in her first days she’s already showing curiosity — watching everything around her and quietly taking it all in. She’s currently being treated for an eye infection, and with the proper medical care she’s now receiving, we’re hoping it won’t affect her long‑term vision.Dove will do best with adopters who understand that shy cats need time, patience, and gentle encouragement. Once she feels safe, we expect her natural curiosity to blossom into confidence.Meet Our Fabulous Foster-to-Adopt Kittens! Our young kittens are ready to go home now through our foster‑to‑adopt program. You take them home today, and the adoption is finalized after their spay/neuter surgery. Our rescue requires kittens to be adopted in pairs or into a home that already has a young, friendly cat. Kittens raised alone often struggle with social and behavioral development, while growing up with another cat helps them learn boundaries, burn energy, and become well‑adjusted adults. The adoption fee is $75 for a single cat/kitten and $125 for a pair.If you’re ready to bring home a pair of playful kittens—or add one to your friendly resident cat—we’d love to help you find the right match.Apply today at www.midwestpetrefuge.com/adopt to start your foster‑to‑adopt journey!Apply to adopt at: www.midwestpetrefuge.com/adoptIf you are interested in adopting this pet, please go to www.midwestpetrefuge.com/adopt to complete an application. Completing a questionnaire on any other website does not submit an application to our rescue, you must complete one on our website. If you have any questions, please email us at adopt@MidwestPetRefuge.com
