In the shelter’s words
Max is playful, snuggly, and sweet. She is often a bit apprehensive of new environments and experiences, but once she feels safe, she loves to snuggle, purr, and play. She loves to sit on her foster mom's lap while she's working on her laptop or watching a show and gives the best purrs when she feels safe. Max would do best in a quiet home as an only cat or with another calm cat. She loves people and interacts nicely with other cats, but can get overwhelmed with multi-cat environments and is happy to entertain herself. Loud noises can be particularly scary for her, so a home without dogs or young children would be the best fit. She truly is such a sweetheart and comes running to the door to greet her foster mom with the most melodic meows when she comes home. If you want a snuggly, loving, and curious kitten who also has a calm sense of independence, Max is your girl!

Our adoption fee is $190 which covers spay/neuter at our veterinarian, vaccinations, deworming, flea treatment, combo testing, and microchipping. The first step in our adoption process is filling out our non-binding Adoption Application. The next step is a home visit either virtually or in person. The potential adopter will then be able to meet the animal at the foster's home and if it is a good fit, take the animal home. They will pay the adoption fee, fill out our Adoption Agreement, and receive the animal's medical records.
