In the shelter’s words
Name: Thelma DOB: 3/6/26 Weight: 1 lb Gender: Female Species: Guinea Pig Coat Length: Short Color: Multi-Colored Child friendly: yes, gentle, calm, older children, please Temperament: bubbly, intelligent, active, joyful Energy Level: moderate Adoption Fee: $30+ tax To adopt, go to: www.mendingspirits.org/apply-to-adopt.html Meet Thelma! Thelma is a sweet guinea pig who was found outside on her own by a Good Samaritan. Because of her uncertain start, she can be a little cautious with people and needs some time to learn that she’s safe. With a consistent routine, regular socializing, and plenty of yummy treats, Thelma has already started coming out of her shell! She’s discovered the joy of wheeking when she hears food and treat bags and is becoming more comfortable showing off her guinea pig personality. Thelma is looking for a patient family who will help continue building her confidence with a predictable routine, unlimited hay, fresh greens, treats, and gentle interaction. Give this little lady some time to trust you, and we think there’s a very sweet girl waiting to blossom.
