In the shelter’s words
Carlotta is affectionate and outgoing like her sister Leona. She loves being involved in whatever you are doing. Enjoys sleeping on the bed with her person so that she can be the first thing they see in the morning. She and Leona are a bonded pair that we would like to see adopted together. Outside the kennel

Their bonded companion
Meet LeonaEach shelter write-up names the other companion. Confirm joint placement with staff.
Plan a visit with the source organization
We have an application that must be filled out including a vet reference and non-relative references. A 24 hour hold on the application allows the ARC volunteer to call references and follow up with any questions for the potential adopter. A home visit may be scheduled at this point. If the person is approved, they must sign a contract. An adoption fee is required, however this may be waived in special circumstances. If for any reason in the future they can no longer take care of the pet, the animal must be returned to ARC.
Confirm availability, fees and the meeting address before traveling.
