In the shelter’s words
Amber and her sister, Margot, were dumped, and luckily, not like so many other dumped dogs that get killed or starve, they were picked up by someone in rescue. They have been together all their lives, and we would love to see them stay together if possible. So, please check out Margot too if you are interested in this sweet girl.Amber lives with lots of other dogs and gets along with everyone. The girls sleep and eat in the same kennel and love to cuddle together. Amber has good house manners and is crate trained. She loves attention, even if she is a bit timid with new people. She is fully vetted, current with vaccines, spayed, microchipped, and on flea and tick, as well as heartworm, prevention.
Outside the kennel
No dated field notes yet. Nothing about their life outside the kennel has been invented.

Plan a visit with the source organization
Potential adopters have to complete a detailed application that is available on the website. If no red flags, then a home visit is managed to confirm a fenced yard, existing pets, and kids to see if everyone gets along. Then an adoption contract is executed and the adoption fee is held for two weeks. The fee depends on the animal; seniors get a break.
Confirm availability, fees and the meeting address before traveling.
