In the shelter’s words
Meet Tiger Tiger recently went on a short adoption, but after getting out of the home, he was safely recovered. Since then, he’s had time to decompress, received a vet check, and is truly ready to find his real forever home.Tiger is a sweet, affectionate guy who loves pets and cuddles. He enjoys hanging out nearby, keeping watch over his kingdom, and being part of the household activity. And if you happen to have a delectable meat tube treat? He would gladly accept one every single day. That would be ideal, according to Tiger. The Home Tiger Needs Preferably an only cat One calm, respectful cat may be okay with proper introductions No children No dogs Tiger appreciates a peaceful environment where he can be himself. One important note from His Majesty: he is not a fan of brushing. He finds it rather offensive and believes he is perfectly capable of grooming himself, thank you very much. He may get a little grumpy about it, so respecting his boundaries is important.Tiger will take a few days to acclimate to new surroundings, but with a little patience, you’ll be rewarded with a loyal, affectionate companion who loves to lounge, observe, and soak up attention. If you’re looking for a sweet king of the castle who just needs a calm place to call home, Tiger is ready.

the first step in our process is an application. The questions on the application are designed to determine if the pet would be a good fit in this home. We contact the applicants veterinarian to verify they have a good history of previous (or current) pet care. We meet the applicant at Petsmart or at their home to allow them to interact with the pet they are interested in adopting. If all goes well the adoption is finalized. We have an adoption contract, requiring regular vet care, indoor homes, return to us if it doesnt work out, etc. Our dog adoption fee is $175, cats range from $80 for older cats to $125 for kittens
