In the shelter’s words

Due to technical issues with some adoption sites, please email us directly at info@sheltertohome.com to inquire about adopting or to ask questions. Please include the animal's name in the email. If you're searching for a gentle, affectionate companion with a quiet charm, Puddles is ready to steal your heart. This petite black beauty has the softest fur and a tender soul, just waiting for someone to see her for who she truly is. Puddles can be a bit shy when you first meet her, but give her a little time and patience, and she'll quickly melt into you. Once she feels safe, she absolutely loves being pet and will reward you with the gentlest head butts and affectionate nudges. She's the kind of cat who quietly seeks out your attention and companionship, happy to be near her person. She's also playful and enjoys keeping herself entertained, especially with catnip toys or watching the world go by from a cozy window perch. Puddles isn't a fan of being picked up, but she more than makes up for it with her loving presence and desire for connection on her own terms. She would thrive in a calm home where she can build trust and blossom into the affectionate companion she's meant to be. If you're looking for a soft, sweet, and soulful little shadow to share your days with, Puddles might just be your perfect match.**All Shelter to Home animals are fully vetted per their age. We believe in pediatric spay and neuter. All animals will be spayed or neutered, tested for FIV/FeLV or heartworm, given age-appropriate boosters and rabies, dewormed, flea treated, and anything extra that is needed to give this animal a wonderful forever life in a permanent home. Adoption fees are usually $50 for cats and between $150-$250 for dogs, unless the pet is sponsored or we are running a promotion. Please visit our website at sheltertohome.com for information on our adoption process.**
