In the shelter’s words
Meet Frost! Frost is a sweet, gentle boy who came from a large cat colony of about 40 cats. He is a little more reserved and is still learning that people can be trusted, but he is slowly coming out of his shell and showing us more of his sweet personality every day. Frost will need a patient, understanding family who is willing to let him come out of his shell at his own pace. A calm, gentle approach, plenty of patience, and a safe environment will help him continue to build confidence and learn that he is finally home.Because of Frost’s sensitive nature, he would do best in a quieter home with teenagers or older and no young children. He needs someone who understands that every cat has their own timeline and is willing to give him the time and space he needs to feel safe.Frost is dog friendly and enjoys playing, lounging in sunny spots, and, of course, eating! Wet food is one of his favorite things. Frost may not be the first cat to run up and greet you, but underneath that shy exterior is a sweet boy who is just waiting for someone to show him that he is safe and loved. With patience, kindness, and time, we know this handsome boy will continue to blossom. If you’re looking for a gentle soul and are willing to let him write his own timeline, Frost may be the perfect addition to your family. Apply today.

the first step in our process is an application. The questions on the application are designed to determine if the pet would be a good fit in this home. We contact the applicants veterinarian to verify they have a good history of previous (or current) pet care. We meet the applicant at Petsmart or at their home to allow them to interact with the pet they are interested in adopting. If all goes well the adoption is finalized. We have an adoption contract, requiring regular vet care, indoor homes, return to us if it doesnt work out, etc. Our dog adoption fee is $175, cats range from $80 for older cats to $125 for kittens
