Hi, I'm Idaho! I may not be the first cat to walk up and introduce myself, but if you take the time to get to know me, you'll discover a sweet, friendly boy with beautiful green eyes and a gentle heart. I'm a little shy when meeting new people, and I would do best in a quiet home where I can settle in at my own pace. Once I feel comfortable, I enjoy being petted and spending time with the people I trust. I'm proof that sometimes the quieter cats have the most rewarding personalities waiting to be discovered. Not all of us are social butterflies. Some of us are a little more reserved, preferring meaningful connections over being the center of attention. With patience, love, and understanding, I'm confident I'll blossom into a wonderful companion. If you're looking for a kind-hearted cat who will reward your patience with trust, affection, and companionship, come meet me at M'Shoogy's. I just might be the perfect wallflower for you.

We want to meet you and make sure we are making the right match for your situation as well as for the animal. Email or call us about which animal you are considering and we can make an appointment for you and the animal to meet. Visit the Adoption Information page at www.mshoogys.org to fill out our adoption application and email it to one of our volunteers. You can also print a copy, fill it out, and bring it with you to M'Shoogy's during our hours of operation, which are Saturdays from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Please note that if you are applying to adopt a dog, we usually require that you have a fenced-in yard except in special situations. The cost to adopt includes shots and the cost of spaying/neutering. If you are adopting a dog we also ask that you purchase 6 months of heartworm preventative. It is sold by weight. If you check around, you'll find it is the lowest cost adoption service in the area.
