In the shelter’s words
Meet Dreamy! Dreamy truly is a dream of a cat! This sweet girl loves to play, enjoys plenty of attention, and even comes running when she hears her name. At approximately 5 years old, Dreamy is a wonderful companion who is comfortable with both children and adults. She has a playful and curious side, too. Dreamy is incredibly alert and has a knack for catching those little bugs that dare to fly into her territory! She also loves watching birds through the window and taking in the fresh air, making sunny window views one of her favorite forms of entertainment. Dreamy is a healthy, spayed, vaccinated, FIV and FeLV negative, and microchipped. She is ready to find a loving forever home where she can enjoy playtime, attention, sunny windows, and plenty of companionship. For anyone looking for a sweet, playful, and engaging feline companion, Dreamy may just be the dream come true! To learn more or apply to adopt Dreamy, please email nycatcoaladopt@yahoo.com or call Joan at (718) 671-1695. An online adoption form is also available - click here to apply.

Plan a visit with the source organization
We wish to place cats only in secure, safe, stable, loving homes, and we are very careful in our review of the applications. Potential Pet-parents fill out an Adoption Application, we review the application, call the applicant, schedule a time for them to visit our cats. We check their references, call their veterinarian, and verify that their backup person who would take the cats if something happened to the adopter is on board. Then a Foster Agreement is completed. When all parties are happy, after about 2 weeks, we have the finalized Adoption Agreement sent to us.
