In the shelter’s words
Cody is a solid sleek black beauty with a gentle soul & a heart just waiting to bloom in the right home. While he may be shy at first, this handsome boy is full of quiet charm & potential. He’s still learning that people can be safe & kind—but treats are the way to his heart! Offer him a snack & you’ll be one step closer to earning his trust. Once he’s comfortable, he truly enjoys gentle pets & will reward your patience with moments of tender affection. Cody still has that “spook” instinct—sudden movements or noises can startle him—but he’s come such a long way in foster care. In the right, calm home with a loving human who understands shy kitties, he’s going to thrive. His glossy black coat & soulful eyes already make him a stunner, but we know his true shine will come out when he finds his forever home. If you’re the kind of person who finds joy in earning a shy cat’s trust and watching them blossom, Cody might just be your perfect match.
