Hey there everyone, my name is Big Hunk! I am a 7 month old, neutered male, black and white, domestic shorthair cat who is on the smaller side as I'm still a growing boy. With a name like Big Hunk, you might think I'm the boldest and most handsome guy around - obviously the second is true, but I'm also a mellow and sometimes more reserved fella. I'm not the kind of cat who will approach you, but will happily accept cheek and chin scratches that come my way. When I'm not chilling out next to you getting my cute lil head pet, you might find me playfully wrestling with some of my fave toys! Basically, I'm the perfect mix of chill and playful! :D If you're looking for a kitty doesn't need to be the main protagonist, but will love you all the same, then look no further - I'm your guy! When a potential adopter comes into the shelter and sees an animal he or she is interested in adopting, we ask the potential adopter to first complete an Adoption Profile. Then, one of our knowledgeable customer service representatives brings the adopter and animal together in one of our Get Acquainted Rooms. There they have a quiet, private space to get to know each other better. During the visit, the customer service representative may discuss the following: past experiences with animals and current animals in the home lifestyle, including work schedule and the kinds of activities they plan to do with their companion animal housing situation - own or rent, size of yard, etc. In order to make the best match possible for a family and home, we suggest potential adopters bring along all members of the household to meet the new companion animal and bring their current dog(s) to meet a potential dog. Adopters must also be 18 or older.
