In the shelter’s words
Charcoal can be shy at first, but once he warms up he's a sweetheart. He has a great purr and loves to cuddle at bedtime. His favorite activity is napping on the back of a couch or sitting atop something tall to watch the world go by. He's the perfect boy for someone looking for a quiet companion, especially if you don't mind him patting your head from the top of the fridge at breakfast time. He's great with other cats of all ages. Meet him: Saturdays at Pet Smart Harbison from 12 to 4 pm. Plan a visit with the source organization
We have an application that must be filled out including a vet reference and non-relative references. A 24 hour hold on the application allows the ARC volunteer to call references and follow up with any questions for the potential adopter. A home visit may be scheduled at this point. If the person is approved, they must sign a contract. An adoption fee is required, however this may be waived in special circumstances. If for any reason in the future they can no longer take care of the pet, the animal must be returned to ARC.
Confirm availability, fees and the meeting address before traveling.
