In the shelter’s words
**MEET NALA — THE SURVIVOR WHO DESERVES HER HAPPY ENDING! **Nala’s life has been anything but easy, but this brave girl has proven time and time again that she is a fighter. Now, after everything she has survived, it’s finally time for Nala to find what she has always deserved: **a safe, loving INDOOR home where she never has to fight for her life again.** ❤️Nala is Misty’s first surviving kitten. Sadly, she became a mama before she was trapped, neutered, and returned (TNR). Two years ago, after raising her last litter, Nala was returned to her colony. We hoped she would be able to live out her life peacefully, but her story took another heartbreaking turn.Last year, Nala was attacked by a dog. She was missing for over a week, and everyone feared the worst. We thought we had lost her. But against all odds, **Nala came back alive!** She was badly injured and needed extensive hernia surgery to survive. And this incredible girl fought her way back. After a long road to recovery, Nala has finally healed and is ready for the next chapter of her life.Despite everything she has endured, Nala is still a sweet, trusting girl. She has every reason to be afraid of the world, yet she has continued to show us that there is still love in her heart. She deserves more than surviving day to day. She deserves a soft place to sleep, a full belly, gentle affection, and someone who will make sure she is always safe. **What Nala is looking for:**❤️ A safe, loving indoor-only home❤️ A patient person who will give her time to settle in❤️ A dog-free environment — dogs are not her friends, and after what she has endured, we want her to feel completely safe❤️ A family who understands that even the strongest survivors deserve to be protected and cherishedNala has spent enough of her life surviving. She has survived motherhood, life on the streets, a devastating dog attack, and major surgery. Now she needs someone to show her what it feels like to simply be a beloved cat. **Nala survived the unthinkable. Let's make sure the rest of her life is filled with love, comfort, and safety.** **ADOPT NALA. LET HER SURVIVE NO MORE — LET HER LIVE.**
