In the shelter’s words

Jack Frost’s past may be a mystery, but one thing is certain—this soulful boy is ready for a future filled with love. Jack appeared in the neighborhood of one of our fosters, alone and unsure. The scars on his body and the distant look in his eyes told us he had likely experienced more than any dog should. We may never know exactly what happened before he found us, but we do know what happened next: Jack learned he was safe. With time, patience, and love, that uncertain boy began to blossom. Today, Jack Frost is affectionate, loyal, and incredibly grateful for the people who make him feel secure. He’s learned the joy of a soft bed, a full belly, gentle affection, and finally having people who see just how worthy he is. Quick Facts Handsome pittie with the most soulful eyes ❤️ Affectionate, loyal, and deeply connected to his people Can happily be your one-and-only dog May do well with a compatible dog of similar size and energy Would not be a good match for a dominant male dog ⭐ Thrives with structure, consistency, and people he can trust Loves affection and being close to his humans Has come so far since first arriving in rescue Located in Southern California Jack Frost doesn’t need anyone to know every detail of where he’s been. He just needs someone who cares about where he’s going. Give this special boy the safety, patience, and forever love he deserves, and Jack will give you something pretty incredible in return—a devoted best friend whose gratitude shines through in every cuddle, tail wag, and soft glance your way.
