In the shelter’s words
Meet Ponyo! Hi there! My name is Ponyo, and I’m on the lookout for a super-special adopter. I was raised as a bottle baby and single kitten, but my mom had to go away, and I couldn’t go with her. Since then, I’ve been through multiple homes and ended up in a shelter. I was so scared by the time I got there that I didn’t know how to trust anyone anymore. Big dogs in one of the homes really frightened me too. I’m dreaming of a calm home where I can be the spoiled princess I was meant to be. I have so much love to give, but I need you to understand that I might seem a bit scary at first. It’s not that I don’t want love or trust; I just need time to feel safe and know that I won’t be abandoned again. I would love a nice sunbeam to lie in, a spot where I can see outside (but not go outside), and someone who will meet me at my level and love me on my terms. I can get a little over-stimulated at times, so someone with experience handling cats with a bit of trauma would be perfect for me. I’m really just a good girl who wants to love and be loved. System ID: T-AW-2024 Date of Birth: 02/5/21 If you think you could be the special person Ponyo is looking for, please reach out and give her the loving home she deserves. To know more about this beauty, please fill out an adoption application and a Catmatchers volunteer would contact you soon: https://catmatchers.org/adoptions/adoption_application_page/
